In the land of giants, it seems to be a growing expectation that the success of a company with the profits it produces and the amount of money that can redistribute the pockets of shareholders to be measured.
It is an argument that these actions are only interested in the economy, to their dividends. Once there was a smell, a company that invested in this direction should be difficult to leave the ship before their investment starts to look like a loss. Even worse is that they often knowingly sell their shares to a faceless person, not likely to hear the news yet.
